Malabar Parotta or Kerala parotta is a type of flatbread served typically which is popular across the globe. They are often served with a wide variety of meat dishes, and it is a popular street food combination. Yet another traditional dish which is also very popular among Malayalees is the Pazhampori or banana fritters prepared by deep frying ripe bananas dipped in the batter. 

Other street foods from Kerala include fish fingers, appam, thattu dosa, stir-fried mussels, puttu, parippu vada, idiyappam, idlis, and offal meat among others.
