Orry Awatramani, the liver, also known as the BFF of the entire Bollywood, is now having the time of his life at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding. Apart from Orry being famous for his close-knit circle in Bollywood and Hollywood, the Internet’s poser loves food as much as a normal person does.
Recently, while being in Portofino for one of the most-talked-about weddings, Orry travelled through the local lanes for food tasting. He posted pictures on Instagram and a complete vlog with his tour guide, Tania, who, as per Orry, is a local in the city. The internet celebrity starts his vlog by welcoming the audience as he and Tanya “go stall by stall to try all the non nom nom nommies in Portofino.”
The first thing that Orry and Tania try is cheese and lemon. The zesty and creamy appetiser is served on a leaf. While Orry tries it, he says, “It’s nice. Hot but nice.” His tour guide also finds the citrusy flavours mixed with cheese really amazing. They make their next pitstop to try Churros. At the stall, the vendor had churros with burnt pistachio sauce, classic lemon sauce, and chocolate sauce. As someone who doesn’t eat sugar, Orry tries a small bite and says, “That whole churro just exploded and fell into my mouth, and I just love it.”
Next, they stroll around many stalls with candy floss, cupcakes, fresh fruits, and more. They finally stop and try toasted marshmallows. Another interesting stop was made to eat Manali rolls. The roll featured a soft paratha with eggs, assorted sauces, and masala chips. “That’s one fat roll,” says Orry while the vendor prepares and serves it a customised Lays packaging.
Then, Orry tries the Indian street food vada pav. He says that it is known to be the best vada pav in Portofino. Next, he stopped at a Quiche station, which had Leek and Gruyere, French cream cheese, Petit Pois in a crumbly tart, and Quiche Lorraine. He then gave the viewers a sneak peek of the Cannoli corner. Finally, Orry tries his favourite mixed sauce paste, saying, “My favourite thing to eat in the world is pink sauce pasta. And this is a freaking pink sauce pasta.”
