The grand Oktoberfest is all set to take place again this year and Munich seems to be happiest place. But if you wonder why it is called  Oktoberfest not called Septemberfest, it’s cause the major days fall in September. It get’s its name  from the history of the Wiesn where the first Oktoberfest in 1810 was the wedding of the Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese of Sachsen-Hildburghausen.

Cafe Delhi Heights

Chef Aashish Singh of Cafe Delhi Heights says that We have made an exclusive menu which includes many German dishes and drinks. We have also tried to make them in such a way that it has an Indian touch. Some of the dishes on the menu includes dishes like Bratwurst Chowder ( Corn Chowder Made with Sweet corn, Beer & Brats ), German Potato Salad ( Crispy Bacon, Tangy Mustard, Pork Lard & Boiled Potato cubes) , Currywurst ( Pan fried Pork Sausages topped with Curried Ketchup and baked Brie, Spaetzle ( Wheat flour and egg made pasta, topped with cheese, herbs and roasted onions), Fricassee of vegetables ( Exotic vegetable cubes, broth, butter, cream, garlic and herb spice), Bavarian Roast chicken ( with paprika sauce, roasted vegetables and German potato fritters), German Black forest cake, Bee sting cake and more.

For the first time since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Oktoberfest, the fabled beer festival held in Munich, Germany, has returned,and We are  very excited as We at Rizq will be doing specials for the very first time, says Himanshu Rana, Co-founder Rizq . Beer And Banh Mi At Vietnom 

In terms of dishes and drinks Vietnom is introducing a special combo of Banh mi with Beer for the celebrations.  It is traditional street food of Vietnam.  As more and more of people are getting aware of this traditional festival the popularity of this festival is rapidly increasing. The staple drinks like  Lunchbox Lager beer mixed with orange juice and a shot of Amaretto are also part of the menu. 

Oktoberfest is a Bavarian festival traditionally celebrated in Munich, as the remembrance of the marriage of King Ludwig and queen Theresa. Horse Riding and Beer drinking are the traditions attached with this celebration. So head to vietnom cyber hub to celebrate Oktoberfest.

Molecule Air Bar 

Sahil Sambhi, Founder Molecule Air bar says that "The festival originated on October 12, 1810, in celebration of the marriage of the crown prince of Bavaria, who later became King Louis I, to Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen. From then to now, Oktoberfest has always been acceped trend internationally but now Indians have started celebrating it as well. 

In terms of dishes and drinks, We have introduced a new menu inspired from Oktoberfest specials. The specials like cajun spiced onion rings ( home made rings served with barbeque sauce and garlic sauce )  soya keema poutine (  soya keema and cheese loaded french fries served with gravys)  smokey chicken angara tacos ( fulka tacos filled with chicken, pineapple salsa and fried chilli ) pepper rub chicken fingers (  crispy fried chicken fingers served with greek yoghurt ranch )  sriracha lime hot wings ( Baked wings, marinated with hot sauce served with sour cream and homemade chips) are included in the Menu. We have been celebrating Oktoberfest for 5 years now, and We do it every year without fail. We are looking forward to this year's Oktoberfest with a lot of enthusiasm as last year was pandemic, and people weren't enjoying it that much, this year We have zeal for it.
