Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with members of the National Democractic Alliance (NDA) on Wednesday and chaired a meeting with the MPs, ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. Following the meeting, the PM and the NDA members enjoyed a lavish dinner spread of south Indian dishes, that included paniyarams, adai-aviyal, vegetable korma, puliohara, pappu charu and more. An official photograph was shared on Modi’s Twitter handle captioned, “Last evening, I had a wonderful meeting with NDA MPs from Southern India, followed by a great dinner in which a variety of South Indian dishes were served including Paniyaram, Appam, Vegetable Korma, Pulihora, Pappu Charu, Adai Aviyal and more.”

BJP president JP Nadda and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari were also part of this meeting, along with host ministers Prahalad Joshi and V. Muraleedharan in attendance. With the upcoming elections, the NDA will also be celebrating its 25th anniversary, making this alliance a precursor to the general elections. In view of this, the PM has been having meetings with NDA members from across the country. The dinner in question that happened on Wednesday, was served on fresh banana leaves as they were seated at a round table, seen deep in discussion.
