Established in the 1950s, Gulshan Dhaba is one of the oldest dhabas in the region. The place started off humbly but has gained popularity in recent years because of its tasty parathas. A number of gift shops and sweet shops can be found adjacent to the dhaba, which is also known for its outdoor seating.

No.1 Ahuja Dhaba

The aloo-pyaaz parathas at No.1 Ahuja Dhaba are a treat, especially since they come topped with white butter. Hot parathas and quick service make this dhaba a must visit. You may order some yogurt to go with your parathas too, and finish your meal with some chai. The place remains open throughout the day.

Amrik Sukhdev Dhaba

Amrik Sukhdev Dhaba was set up by Sardar Parkash Singh in 1956. Since then, it has gone on to become the most popular dhaba in Murthal. The place was named after Sardar Parkash Singh’s two sons: Amrik and Sukhdev, who have now taken over operations. Both families and solo travellers have been known to frequent the dhaba.

Jhilmil Dhaba

The menu at Jhilmil Dhaba is extensive and has something to suit every palate. Arrive early in the morning for a breakfast of chhole bhature, or aloo-puri and halwa. There’s also South Indian food, fried rice, noodles, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, chaat and biryani. There’s also a whole range of tandoori parathas to choose from.

70 Milestone Dhaba

70 Milestone Dhaba is very popular with residents of the areas nearby. It’s slightly more costly than the other ones, but the food is worth it. The menu features thalis and combos, tandoori items, chaat, North Indian mains, a whole range of Indian-Chinese dishes, rolls, pizzas and even sizzlers.
