The actor recently turned 37, and got loads of good wishes and blessings from her friends, family, and fans. The foodie side of Mouni is not known to many, but her birthday celebrations said it all.
Her recent birthday bash was all over her Instagram stories. While there was a huge party for friends and family, we saw Mouni cutting two cakes at midnight at home. With her husband, Suraj Nambiar, by her side, we saw the actor being sworn a colourful tiara that was glittering with lights. Then, we saw her cutting an overloaded chocolate cake first. After this, we saw her cutting another cake that was bound by chocolate-covered wafer bars and looked absolutely delicious.
The cake mania on Mouni’s birthday surely told us something about her sweet tooth. This reminds us of a trip she took to Kolkata this year. The actor was there for work, but made the most of her time with lots of good food and good company. The reel that she posted on her handle began with a plethora of Bengali mishti in a box. One could spot payesh, sandesh and rasgulla on the platter. Other than this, she also devoured savoury dishes like begun bhaja and snacks like jhalmuri.
This isn’t the first vacation where she’s eaten all the local food. Be it her time in Dubai or Sri Lanka, all that Mouni was doing to her followers was giving them major food and vacay goals. Even in Kashmir, where she went for her honeymoon last year, she was seen slurping on a bowl of maggi while it snowed in the background. The foodie side of the actor has not been hidden from us and those who follow her closely know that she can never say no to good food.
