Masala Prawns Fry: A Delicious yet Healthy Indian Food

This Prawn Masala Recipe is so easy to make, that it can easily be the go-to snack for bachelors and beginners. It contains easily accessible, basic ingredients like prawns, onions, salt, and chilli powder. The prawns are marinated in this dish with Indian spices and masala before being dry-roasted in oil. This prawn fry is a basic appetiser for the majority of non-vegetarian lunch and supper entrees and is a quick, uncomplicated dish that is a real delight for seafood fans. When prepared properly, they taste absolutely wonderful, are low in calories, and are high in omega-3 fatty acids. And this recipe, which is an absolute favourite, always disappears as soon as it is placed on the table. Not only is prawn stir fry simple to prepare, but it also offers significant health advantages.

Due to the many nutritional advantages of prawns, health experts love them. Prawns are a great addition to any diet since they are high in protein and low in calories. They are rich in zinc, vitamin D, and vitamin B3. They are a good source of iron as well. Prawns are also rich in unsaturated fats, which are good for your overall health. A delightful snack that can also be served as a major dish when coupled with stir-fried vegetables is golden-fried prawns. Prawns fry should be tried at least once by everybody who appreciates meat; you won't be disappointed. With just a little additional masala to make it hotter, Masala Prawn has the ideal spice combination. Coconut milk is typically used to make prawn curry, but we didn't use it in this recipe. So, if you usually eat prawn curry with coconut milk, give this dish a try once for a change and you won't be sorry. At the same time, if the flavour of coconut is non-negotiable, go ahead and use it. That core of a delicious dish is its superior taste, which will remain nonetheless. 

Ingredients:

Prawns – 1 kg

Dry red chilli – 4 nos

Coriander seed – 1tbsp

Pepper seed – 1 tbsp

Chopped onions – 2 nos

Green chilli – 3 nos

Curry leaves -3 sprigs

Garlic – 5 or 6

Ginger – 1 medium

Turmeric powder – 1tbsp

Red chilli powder- 1 tbsp

Oil – for frying

Method : 

The prawns must first be cleaned and placed aside.

Then, combine salt, dry red chilli powder, coriander, pepper, ginger, and garlic into a fine paste and leave aside.

Take a bowl, add the prawns, the finely ground paste mixture, the turmeric powder, and combine well. Marinate for 30 minutes.

The prawns are added to a skillet with hot oil, fried nicely, and then the extra oil is drained out and kept aside.

Then, using the same pan, add the chopped onion, green chilli, and curry leaves and cook for 6 to 7 minutes, stirring often.

Then combine salt and red chilli powder.

Finally, we need to stir in the cooked prawns. Take out of the fire and place aside. Serve the delicious prawn fried and savour it.
