After all, why would some of the biggest celebrities of our country, who keep travelling to different parts of the world, long for it too? Masaba Gupta, for instance, is one who has often shared her love for Indian food on social media. A self-confessed foodie who likes to share her indulgences on social media, Masaba’s food posts are as interesting as her sartorial designs. The fashion designer has a hectic schedule, but despite that the multi-talented star takes time to treat her taste buds to some mouth-watering treats often. And her fans are always delighted.

In her latest Instagram Stories, the fashion designer shared an image of her sumptuous meal that is all things comforting, nutritional and flavourful. Masaba’s platter was loaded with south Indian delicacies such as idiyappams, a popular rice noodle dish from Kerala, paired with a preparation of red amaranth and cowpea curry cooked with a bunch of spices. We could also spot some avial, another healthy and flavourful dish of mixed vegetables from Kerala, and some raita on the side. The meal was accompanied by a bowl of hearty stew. Masaba elaborated her meal in the caption.

Masaba wrote “All I really want these days is warm, wholesome, flavourful nutritious food (and chocolate obviously). Thank you for always thinking of me when you think of spinach (8-year-old me would be proud) and thank you for the most delicious vegetarian food in the city. Not a drop of extra oil or extra spice – easy on the gut and even better on the mind which is just stressed and stretched these days.” She dedicated and tagged chef Marina Balakrishnan in the caption.
