Global Pancake Festival At Blah!, Mumbai

Blah!, one of Mumbai’s favourite brunch spots, brings back its much-loved Pancake Festival for a fourth edition. This year’s menu travels the world with five globally inspired pancakes—from Thailand & Vietnam’s Pink Pitaya Pancake to Japan’s airy Matcha Soufflé, Middle Eastern Chocolate Pancakes, and classic Swiss- and European-inspired creations. Paired with a thoughtfully curated speciality coffee programme featuring Arabica brews, hojichas, matcha lattes, and unique creations like Miso Truffle Hojicha and Turkish Hazelnut Cold Coffee, the festival promises a playful and globally inspired brunch experience!

The Penang Table X Lisa's Lanka By Lisa, Mumbai

The Penang Table launches its first-ever pop-up with Gang of Penang, spotlighting bold culinary voices through collaborations. Running at The Penang Table, Bandra, the debut edition brings Malaysian flavours together with Sri Lankan soul through Lisa’s Lanka by Lisa, formerly of The Jaffna Jump. It’s a celebration of shared spice routes, coastal influences, and deeply rooted food cultures. The menu packs in big flavours with dishes like Kadala Hummus with dosa shards, Avocado Pachadi, Ceylon Black Pepper Fry, Superrr! Shrimp Fry, and indulgent plates such as Karuppu Mutton Hopper and Bone Marrow Varuval with Ceylon parotta, ending sweetly with Spiced Palm Brûlée. The pop-up wraps up on a high with the first-ever Baila Night on February 27, bringing music, drinks, and island vibes to Bandra.

Set against Amaraanth’s lush garden backdrop, the two-day experience brings Hosa’s coastal-inspired flavours to life, blending regional roots with inventive, contemporary storytelling on the plate. Led by Chef Harish Rao, the pop-up showcases Hosa’s signature style of reimagining tradition through a global lens. Guests can expect an indulgent 8-course dinner featuring Seafood Rasam, Toddy Shop Prawns, and Bun & Stew, followed by a banana-leaf lunch the next day with dishes such as Muttai Roast, Kari Kuzhambu, and Keerai Poriyal. Paired with handcrafted cocktails from The Lab at Amaraanth, this collaboration invites diners to slow down, indulge, and experience South Indian cuisine in a refreshingly new way.

Chef Flor Camorlinga's One-Night-Only Culinary Journey At The Market, The Ritz-Carlton, Bengaluru

Chef Flor Camorlinga, the driving force behind Plonk's Michelin Bib Gourmand-recognised Best Wine Bar in Mexico City, travels to Southern India for a single night of dining at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore. Chef Flor and the culinary staff of The Ritz-Carlton Bangalore, under the direction of Executive Chef Saurabh Tyagi, co-created the meal. Crisp pastry gives way to a rich filling in a duck confit empanada, which is enhanced by salsa verde and spicy mayo. The next dish is a kingfish tostada, a combination of charred avocado, mango, basil oil, and chilli. The saline snap of salmon roe and the brightness of the mandarin balance the subtle spice of the gochujang-glazed fried chicken, fermented grilled cabbage with a balanced acidity is topped with crisp onions and pomegranate for structure and lift in this Mexican take on kimchi. Mole Poblano is served with broccolini and carrot purée. A redesigned Honeycake, completed with miso caramel and caviar, where sweetness, salinity, and umami are held in purposeful harmony, marks the progression's conclusion.
