Need a healthy pick me up in the late afternoon? Here’s your answer: The Mango Carrot Chia Smoothie. It’s full of wholesome fruits and veggies with an added boost of fiber from the chia seeds. Oh, and it's both gluten free and Paleo compliant!
1 cup frozen mango chunks
1½ cups coconut or almond milk (adjust to taste for a thinner or thicker consistency smoothie)
1 large carrot, chopped
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp honey (optional and adjust to taste)
A handful of ice
Throw all ingredients into a blender and mix. Adjust to taste.
For a thicker smoothie, use more ice and less milk.
For a sweeter smoothie, add more honey.
