2) Dal Khichadi

Soothing dal khichadi is all you need to ward off all the tiredness of the day. Dal khichdi combines tuvar dal, chana dal and rice to create a warming recipe. Combine dal and rice in a bowl; cover with water. Sauté onion, ginger, cumin, coriander, and turmeric in ghee in a pressure cooker. Add tomatoes and salt. Drain the dal mixture and add to the cooker with water. Cook for 15 minutes. Release pressure, season, and serve with ghee, yoghurt, and cilantro.
