With more than 3.4 million followers on Instagram, Mira Kapoor is one social media sensation. The 27-year-old is a self-confessed foodie, and is very vocal for her love for local, seasonal food but she also has a penchant for International favourites like dumplings, especially if they are from her favourite restaurant. On Saturday, she gave us a glimpse of the lunch that she had at Yauatcha, Mumbai. The Bandra-based pan-Asian restaurant has a special place in Mira’s heart. In one of her Instagram stories, she also wrote that she sort of had a “long distance relationship” with the restaurant that actor Shahid Kapoor approves of.

The actress visited the restaurant after 2 long years with one of her friends, and was beyond happy to order her favourite items on the menu. “After two years, feels like a homecoming.. Back to my true love @yauatchamumbai”, she wrote in her caption this time. Mira enjoyed her favourite veg dimsums with a selection of hot sauces. She also ordered another variety of dimsums, and an Asian salad packed with finely chopped cabbage, chillies, scallions and soy sauce.

Asian food has fans across the globe, and we are certainly one of them. Watching Mira’s love for dimsums, we also couldn’t help stop craving some. Here are some recipes we intend to try soon.

Pork Dim Sums

A Cantonese special, these open-faced dimsums are filled with the juicy, hot filling of ground pork, soy sauce, wine. If you happen to love red meat, you must try this.

Chicken Dim Sums

If red meat is not so much a cup of your tea, it is not a bad idea to try the evergreen, chicken dimsums. Brimming with goodness of minced chicken, diced onions, green chillies, ginger, garlic, butter, and soy sauce, these dimsums have indulgence written all over it. The super-thin, almost paper-like casing, make these all the more irresistible, so make sure you roll the dough thin.

Aren’t you drooling already? What are you waiting for? Don your aprons and start cooking. Do share with us which one of the two recipes you liked the most.
