Birthdays, for most of us, are all about receiving warm wishes, cutting yummy cakes, lots of love and celebration. While some celebrate it big, like Karan Johar did for his milestone 50th birthday, some do it mid-air like Kunal Kemmu, who shares his birthday with the ace filmmaker.
Kunal celebrated his 39th birthday mid-air by cutting a cake with flight crew on his way back home from Europe. Yes, you heard that right. The Golmaal Again actor shared a video of himself in an aircraft, with flight attendants celebrating his birthday with a cake.
In the clip, Kunal is seen cutting a cake, as three flight attendants sing happy birthday for him. Sharing the video, Kunal wrote, “Woke up to this mid-air birthday celebration by the lovely in-flight crew. That’s a first for me so it was special. Happy Birthday to me". Take a look:
That’s adorable, isn’t it? But the celebration didn’t end there, as Kunal reunited with his family, wife Soha Ali Khan and daughter Inaaya, in London, where they had an intimate celebration. Soha also posted glimpses from the day where in one of the photos shared on Instagram stories, Kunal is sitting with their daughter Inaaya who is playing with chopsticks. In front of them is an Asian cuisine menu, and the story read, "Birthday Lunch! @kunalkemmu". It seems like the family had an Asian birthday lunch. Take a look at it here:
Post lunch, Soha shared another picture a few hours later when the actor-couple seemed to be standing outside a restaurant in London. As Soha shared this photo, she also revealed that her husband was “waiting outside his favourite restaurant in the world for a birthday dinner”. Check out the story here:
The restaurant, as we could spot, was Colbeh, about which Kunal revealed in one of his interviews to the Man's World as well, how he “can eat there every meal every day every day”.
Kunal also revealed how Colbeh is also one of the things he looks forward to when he goes to London. Colbeh is a popular Persian restaurant that boasts of delish kebabs and grill platters, and we really do understand now why it is Kunal’s favourite. Who wouldn’t want to dig in some lovely Chelo kebabs after all!?
Meanwhile, Kunal will be seen next in Vipul Mehta's film Kanjoos Makkhichoos. He's also seen in the popular online series Abhay.
