Use epoxy putty
After turning off the water and cleaning the area, it's time to apply epoxy putty. First, mix the epoxy putty well with both hands. After mixing:
- Stick it well on the leaking place and leave it dry for some time.
- After about 5-10 minutes, cover the epoxy putty with the plumber's tape, stick it well and leave it for some time.
- After some time, open the tap and check that water is not leaking from the sink pipe.
Dry the leaking area
You should thoroughly clean the leaking area when all the water has drained from the main and sink taps. After cleaning:
- Mark the leaking area and leave it dry for some time.
- After some time, touch it to see if the place is wet or water is not coming out.
- Keep in mind that while cleaning this place, do not forget to wear gloves.
Empty the supply and tap water
To fix the water falling out of the sink pipe:
- First, you need to turn off the main supply to stop the water.
- Then, the tap water connected to the sink must also be emptied.
Unless you turn off both of these supplies correctly, you won't be able to fix the problem of water leaking out of the sink.
Dispose of garbage clean
