One of Bollywood’s favourite and most popular superstars, Katrina Kaif is an active Instagram user. She has 63.7 million followers, whom she keeps updated with snippets from her life and shoots. Besides photoshoots and pictures from her life at home, Katrina Kaif sometimes also shares food-related posts. The actress works out regularly to stay fit but it doesn’t stop her from enjoying her food or sharing it with her loved ones.
Recently, Katrina took to her Instagram account to share a post about her mother’s birthday celebrations. In it, there’s a photo of Katrina and her mother with a chocolate cake topped with berries and flowers saying “Happy Birthday Mum”. There’s also a group hug photo with her mother and all her sisters, and one with just her mother and the gorgeous cake with lit candles on it. Isabelle Kaif, one of Katrina’s younger sisters who has also made her debut in Bollywood, can also be seen in one of the photos. Katrina captioned the post “Happy 70th mama 🎂 May u always live life with the joy and courage that u do …….. surrounded by your very noisy kids”.
The family photos that Katrina shared are heartwarming. It’s no secret that she is close to her mother and sisters, and the photos reflect that. Big Bollywood names like Farah Khan Kunder, Farhan Akhtar, Mini Mathur and Anushka Sharma also commented on Katrina’s post, appreciating it and wishing her mother a Happy Birthday.
This isn’t the first time Katrina shared photos with food in it. Last month, Katrina shared a photo of a plate of egg bhurji that she had made for her husband Vicky Kaushal on her stories. "Sunday breakfast for hubby made by... meeeeee," she wrote. In December 2021, she had cooked sooji halwa for the 'Chaunka Chadhana' ritual which involves newly wed brides cooking something special after the wedding for their husband’s families. The halwa was garnished with dried fruits and looked very tempting. Vicky appreciated Katrina’s efforts by posting a photo of the halwa and captioning it “"Best Halwa Ever!!!".
Katrina and Vicky’s wedding was the talk of most towns when it happened. Ever since, the two have been spotted at various locations and have been photographed together. Next, Katrina will be seen in Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Jee Le Zara’ along with Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt, while Vicky Kaushal will be seen in 'Govinda Naam Mera'.
