Ingredients for making khatta meetha jaljeera:   

  • Black pepper, salt and rock salt - half tsp 
  • Mint and ginger - 50 grams 
  • Cumin powder - 3 tsp 
  • Coriander - 50 grams 
  • Asafoetida - 1 pinch 
  • Lemon juice - 2 tsp 
  • Boondi - 50 grams 
  • Amchur - 1 tsp 
  • Water - 4 cups 
  • Sugar - 1 tsp 

Here is the method to make jaljeera lemonade at home 

  1. Roast the asafoetida, add mint leaves, ginger, and coriander in the mixer, and make a smooth paste. 
  2. Take 4 cups of cold water, add black salt, rock salt, salt, amchur powder, sugar, and cumin powder. Now add lemon juice to it and stir it well. 
  3. Now add the smooth paste that you prepared earlier. Mix it well and when everything dissolves in water, add boondi in the last. 
  4. Fill it in a glass, and if you want, you can also garnish lemon slices to the glass. You can also add crushed ice to make it a proper summer cooler.
