Birthdays are meant to celebrate with family and friends, and we all look forward to that one special day of the year. A get-together, indulging conversations in a relaxed atmosphere and, of course, some delicious food would mean that the day is well-spent. No matter how great a fine-dining restaurant’s food might be, nothing matches the birthday experience at home. And guess who agrees to that - actors Tabu and Shilpa Shetty, who recently had a fun pyjama party at choreographer-director Farah Khan’s home to celebrate Tabu’s birthday on November 4. While Shilpa originally planned to take the birthday girl out for dinner at Bastian, in Mumbai, they ended up landing at Farah's residence for a casual party, instead.

Farah took to Instagram to share a picture of the three, and wrote "Pyjama party.. celebrating Tabu's birthday dressed in formals. Thank you, Shilpa Shetty, for promising us Bastian and landing up at mine". To this, Shilpa replied in the comments section, "Promise will be kept so long as the after party is still at yours".

Shilpa also shared some glimpses of the food-filled pyjama party in her Instagram stories through a video. We could spot some delicious crispy fried snacks, including what looked like fish, on the table full of food. There were also a few Indian gravies and pav bhaji. “Love you but your food more”, wrote Shilpa in the caption of her stories tagging Farah along with a heart and laughing emoji. We could hear her saying "Hostess with the mostest” in the video of. Take a look:

After the hearty meal, Farah and Shilpa celebrated Tabu’s birthday with a wonderful chocolate cake decorated with blueberries, strawberries, and nuts on top. Shilpa also shared glimpses of the cake-cutting in a video, where we could see a shy Tabu cutting the cake while her friends sang ‘happy birthday’ to her. “Soo glad we could celebrate your birthday and you”, wrote Shilpa in the video tagging Tabu, and added “@farahkhankunder love nights at your home, food is always served before 9 pm and kicked out before 11, just the way I like it” with laughing emojis.
