Hrithik Roshan’s Healthy Egg Sandwich Recipe Is One To Bookmark

Sandwiches are not just saviour on hectic days, but are a good breakfast option for all days, and even meals. Be it breakfast or evening snacks, sandwiches are good for any time of the day. Quick, easy and super simple, sandwiches also give us space to be creative, and experiment with some exotic ingredients. And it seems like Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan is also a fan of some creative sandwiches. Yes, you read that right. The fitness icon of many, Hrithik can give a run for money to many superstars when it comes to his physique. And it is no secret that the actor is a hardcore diet and fitness enthusiast. Just a few days back, his trainer, Kris Gethin, revealed that the secret to Hrithik’s fitness is pure ‘commitment to his diet’. He also revealed how the actor has six meals in a day along with a protein shake and makes no excuses when it is time for his meal.  

Hrithik too keeps sharing tidbits from his diet on social media, and recently the actor shared the recipe of the sandwich he was indulging in. Taking to his Instagram Stories, Hrithik shared a picture of his egg sandwich and revealed the ingredients inside it. Let's just say it is one healthy dish you won’t mind indulging in! Loaded with protein, Hrithik’s yummy-looking egg sandwich is one irresistible treat. “6 egg whites, 1 whole egg, 30g bell pepper, 100g spinach, and 20g onion,” Hrithik revealed the ingredients alongside the picture. For the sauce, he opted for “roasted cherry tomato with basil.” Interesting, isn’t it? Have a look: 

Egg sandwiches are both full filling and flavourful. While Hrithik Roshan's 'egg sandwich' looked every bit delectable, we have given a cheesy twist to the regular version in this recipe for all the foodies.  

Ingredients:  

  • 1 egg 
  • Salt to taste. 
  • Pinch of pepper 
  • 25 g cheddar cheese 
  • 1 tbsp mustard sauce 
  • 2 coriander leaves (chopped)

Method:  

  • Grease a cupcake tray and break the egg into the mould. 
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper 
  • Preheat the oven for 15 minutes. Now, put the tray in it 
  • Allow it to get baked for about 5-6 minutes  
  • Once the egg is done, pull it out and chop it into medium-sized pieces 
  • Add cheese to the mix. Heat it in the microwave for a few minutes to make the cheese melt 
  • Place the mix on a toast, dress it up with coriander and mustard, and you are done.
