How to Make Your Soggy Biscuits Crispy Again

Biscuits or cookies do not taste good when become limp. They lose their texture and taste too. It usually happens during the rainy season owing to the presence of moisture in the air. There are a few ways to make your soggy biscuits edible and taste like fresh ones. Yes, you need not throw those soft cookies in the dustbin anymore. Removing the moisture content from them can do all you require. Here is how to make them crispier again. 

Put in The Microwave

A microwave oven can help you in this regard. Keep your soggy biscuits inside the oven on a microwave-safe plate for at least 3-4 minutes. Once the timer stops, do not instantly take them out. Let the biscuits stay in warmth for around 3 minutes. Next, let them cool down a bit and then store in an airtight jar.

Use Desi Style of Baking

This trick is for those who do not have a microwave oven in their houses. Place a kadhai on medium flame. Now, add salt or sand to it and let it heat properly. Now, put a plate on it and keep your soggy biscuits on the plate. Cover the utensil with a lid and let the cookies bake for at least 5 minutes. Now, switch off the flame and take out the biscuits after 2 minutes.

These are the 2 effective ways to make your squishy biscuits, cookies, and chips crispy and crunchy again. So, from now onwards if you forget to keep a half-filled packet of biscuits, chips, peanuts, or namkeen in an airtight container and as a result, they turn soggy, you know what to do.
