Love peanut butter? Here’s how you can make it at home in just 5 minutes

Freshly-toasted bread and tea is one of the most popular breakfast combinations in Indian households. Ingredients
  • 500 gms roasted peanuts
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • A tbsp of olive oil
  • A pinch of salt

Method:

Step 1: Place peanuts in a food processor. Turn the food processor on and let it run for 4-5 minutes. 

Step 2: During this time, you’ll see the peanuts turn from crumbs to a dry ball and then to a smooth and creamy ‘liquid’ peanut butter. Stir in some honey and olive oil to add some texture. Add a pinch of salt too. 

Step 3: Store this butter in the fridge or at room temperature.

Tip: If you like the crunchy version of peanut butter, keep around 50 grams of roasted peanuts aside and roughly blend them. You can also crush them using a pestle and mortar, and add it to the butter before storing.
