  1. Select good quality rolled oats: Always choose well-rolled oats to make granola bars. As you know, oats are one of the prime ingredients, so it's better to make your granola bars with the best quality of rolled oats.  
  2. Use loads of nuts and raisins: From pistachios, walnuts, almonds, dates to dried cranberries, use loads of nuts and raisins to make your homemade bars. Using nuts and raisins will enrich your bars with nutty and luscious flavours. So choose your favourites and mix them up. 
  3. Add a dash of honey: Using honey help in adding a sweet flavour and ultimate smooth texture. You can use any other sweetener like maple syrup. Sometimes granola bars turn out to be quite brittle, so to avoid this, honey ad maple syrup is added to the mixture.  
  4. Refrigerator for hours until set: Once your mixture is ready, transfer it on a baking tray or pan covered with parchment paper. You must let them chill in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours or until they are set. Using a parchment sheet is essential to avoid the mixture/layer sticking to the pan.
