In recent years, Korean drama and Korean music have been winning the hearts of millions across the globe, and its influence is quite evident now in the culinary industry too. The many Korean music bands, movies and drama series have made their way into the hearts of people from all age groups and geographical locations. Thanks to the revolution it has caused in the world’s culinary cultures, many Korean restaurants have popped up in cities catering to the growing demand for Korean food. And that’s not all, the popularity has also resulted in many trying new foods and techniques to match the Korean stars’ preferences. The kimchi fried rice and bulgogi have tugged at the heartstrings of foodies.

Another remarkable influence of Korean culture on culinary culture is the use of chopsticks. Although it seems quite easy, eating with chopsticks is actually a hard nut to crack. Sensing this difficulty, renowned Indian chef Ranveer Brar took to his Instagram handle to share a post related to the use of chopsticks. The chef uploaded the post with the caption, “Aur tricks sikhne ke liye bane rahiye mere sath...”. Take a look:

The chef begins the post with the initial step to use a chopstick i.e. holding the first chopstick between your thumb and index finger. As you swipe through the post, you can see the detailed steps: holding the second like a pencil, using it to pick up food and then keeping your hands steady. However, as soon as you reach the last slide, the chef’s suggestion will make you chuckle for sure. In it, he says, “Give up! Use fork!”

The hilarious post has garnered the attention of many and the post already has about 34k likes in 10 hours. Take a look at the comments too:
