The evening hour brings with it a whole lot of unhealthy cravings, and without even realising, we hog on fried foods and those crispy chips and namkeens. Doing this occasionally is definitely not a sin, but if you find yourself doing this all the time, it’s high time you stop. But is there a better alternative? Well yes, all thanks to celebrity nutritionist Pooja Makhija

She’s someone who makes it a point to share healthy recipes on her Instagram, and we absolutely love her for that! This time around, Pooja has shared the recipe for those who love to indulge in both a sweet and salty snack. Yes, don’t we have those cravings too? The best part is they aren’t just healthy, but also look absolutely droolworthy.

Without further ado, it’s time to share with you this amazing recipe. Ready to find out?

Ingredients:

4 rice cakes or puffed rice
2 tbsp peanut butter
4 dates (soaked and blended in purée)

½ tsp organic stevia powder
Pinch of rock salt (optional) 

Method:
  1. Take crushed rice cakes in a bowl.
  2. Add peanut butter to it and mix well.
  3. Next, add the pureed date paste and mix again.
  4. Add organic stevia powder to this mixture.
  5. Roll into balls, and line it on a plate.
  6. Add some melted chocolate on top.
  7. These are ready to eat!
