Healthy breakfast recipe of green chana chilla:

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup green choliya
  2. 1 tsp green chilli paste
  3. 1 tsp besan
  4. 2 tsp curd
  5. 1 onion (grated)
  6. 1/4 tsp baking powder
  7. 1 tomato cubed
  8. 1 onion cut in cubes
  9. 1 capsicum sliced
  10. 1 cup roasted crushed peanuts
  11. Salt to taste

Recipe:

  1. Put a pressure cooker on heat.
  2. Add the choliya or green chana to it and add 2 cups of water.
  3. Sprinkle some salt.
  4. Cook for 10 mins for 2-3 whistles.
  5. Strain the choliya, add green chilli paste, besan, curd, and grated onion to it.
  6. Using a hand blender churn and beat the mixture well.
  7. Heat 1 tsp oil in a non-stick pan.
  8. Spread a tablespoon of mixture on the heated pan.
  9. Using round motions, spread it evenly like a pancake.
  10. Sprinkle some diced onion, capsicum, tomato, and crushed peanuts on top.
  11. Cover it for a minute and then flip the chilla to cook well on both sides.
  12. Serve hot with a side of green coriander chutney and imli sonth.
