1 cup multigrain flour (you can use a store-bought mix or make your own by combining whole wheat flour, oats, flaxseed, and other grains)

1/2 cup coconut oil (melted)

1/4 cup maple syrup or honey

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup dark chocolate chips or chopped nuts (optional for added sweetness and texture)

In a mixing bowl, combine the multigrain flour, melted coconut oil, maple syrup or honey, and vanilla extract. Mix well until you get a dough-like consistency.

If you're using chocolate chips or nuts, fold them into the dough.

Preheat your air fryer to 175°C (350°F).

Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper or use a silicone baking mat.

Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the cookie dough and shape them into small balls. Place the balls onto the parchment paper or baking mat, leaving some space between each cookie.

Gently press down on each cookie to flatten it slightly.

Place the cookies in the preheated air fryer and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.

Remove the cookies from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Enjoy your delicious and nutritious 5-ingredient multigrain cookies made effortlessly in the air fryer!
