For the inversed, veganism is defined as a way of life where people exclude all forms of animal exploitation and cruelty and refrain from consuming meat and animal by-products.

According to the latest definition of Veganism by the Vegan Society, it is “a philosophy and way of living that seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of and cruelty to animals for food, clothing, or any other purposes.” It is mainly a plant-based diet which means vegans refrain from consuming dairy products, eggs, or any other products of animals. Traditionally, Indian cuisine is rich in plant-based foods which makes it easier to change the lifestyle. It also involves mindful options that are healthy and environmentally conscious. Thus, from here the frequency of the meal can be increased if the person gets comfortable. This will enable the taste buds and body to get immune to a certain change in taste and flavours, making the whole process more manageable.

After introducing oneself to the plant-based meal, try exploring food options. Replace the regular meat, dairy, or animal products by incorporating plant-based options.
