1. Rum Raisin Old Fashioned

Ingredients 

  1. 50 ml Captain Morgan Spiced Rum 
  2. 10 ml rum-soaked raisin syrup 
  3. 2 dashes angostura bitters 
  4. Ice cube 
  5. Orange peel for garnish

Method 

  1. Pour the rum, raisin syrup, and aromatic bitters into a mixing glass. Fill with ice and stir to chill and dilute the flavours. 
  2. Strain the stirred cocktail into a rocks glass with a single large ice cube. 
  3. Express an orange peel over the drink to release the citrus oils, then use it as a garnish. 

2. Rum Raisin Flip

Ingredients 

  1. 50 ml Captain Morgan Spiced Rum 
  2. 15 ml rum-soaked raisin syrup 
  3. 1 whole egg 
  4. Pinch of ground nutmeg

 Method 

  1. Grab the cocktail shaker and add in the rum, raisin syrup, egg, and nutmeg. Time for some magic!  
  2. Shake for at least 10 seconds. Now pack the shaker full of ice and shake vigorously again to chill down the cocktail. 
  3. Strain the cocktail through the shaker into a chilled coupe glass. Admire that beautiful frothy head! 
  4. Finish it off with a sprinkle of fresh nutmeg powder over the top. 

3. Rum Raisin Daiquiri

Ingredients 

  1. 50 ml Captain Morgan Spiced Rum 
  2. 25 ml rum-soaked raisin syrup 
  3. 25 ml fresh lime juice 
  4. Ice cubes 

Method  

  1. Add all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker, and shake for 10-15 seconds 
  2. Strain your masterpiece into a martini or coupe glass. Make it look glamorous. 
  3. Garnish with a festive raisin or lime twist.

Ingredients 

  1. Steaming hot water 
  2. 50 ml Captain Morgan spiced rum 
  3. 25 ml raisin rum syrup 
  4. 1 cinnamon stick 
  5. 1 lemon wedge 
  6. Whole cloves 

Method 

  1. Pour hot water into a mug.  
  2.  Add rum, raisin syrup, and cinnamon stick. Stir gently.   
  3. Garnish with lemon and cloves. Let sit for a few minutes so flavours mix. Serve warm and enjoy! 

5. Rum Raisin Punch

Ingredients 

  1. 200 ml Captain Morgan rum 
  2. 100 ml rum-soaked raisin syrup 
  3. 500 ml apple cider 
  4. 250 ml ginger beer 
  5. Ice cubes 
  6. Sliced apples 
  7. Raisins 
  8. Cinnamon sticks 

Method 

  1. Mix the rum, raisin syrup, apple cider, and ginger beer in a large punch bowl. Gently stir to combine.  
  2. Add ice cubes, sliced apples, raisins, and cinnamon sticks. Let it all steep for 1 hour so the flavours blend.  
  3. Spoon into cups and drink up! The longer it steeps, the more delicious it gets. Enjoy!

Ingredients 

  1. 60 ml Pierre Ferrand Pineau des Charentes aperitif 
  2. 15 ml rum 
  3. 15 ml sherry 
  4. 15 ml rum-soaked raisin syrup 
  5. 1 dash bitters 
  6. Garnish: grapefruit twist 

Method 

  1. Mix together Pineau des Charentes, rum, sherry, raisin syrup and bitters with ice. Stir until chilled. Strain the mixture into a chilled glass.   
  2. Squeeze grapefruit peel over the top to finish. Finish it off with a fun grapefruit twist garnish.
