Pardon Our French
Le15 Patisserie founder and renowned pastry chef Pooja Dhingra has announced the opening of a brand-new café in Mumbai. Your next favourite place for coffee, sweets, brunches, and more might be Pardon Our French in Ballard Estate. The menu is purposefully divided into three sections of desserts, savoury dishes, and beverages. A chocolate cake with layers of mousse, olive oil, and sea salt. A vibrant, well-balanced lemon cake that would entice us to come back. An unexpected and endearing design by Chikoo and Hazelnut. A winning dish is the Eggs & Soldiers, a traditional British meal consisting of toasted bread sliced into thin pieces (soldiers) for dipping and a soft-boiled egg with a runny yolk served in an egg cup. The POF Fries are evidence that café-style fries don’t need to be greasy all the time.

Timing: 12 PM - 8 PM. Closed on Mondays

Sweeney
Owned by Malaika Arora and restaurateur Dhaval Udeshi, you don't immediately notice the bar or the tables filled with food. Nearly half of the outside space is covered by this 140-year-old mango tree. An interesting element that makes Sweeney really fun is that the staff will give you a jar of mango jam to take home if a mango falls on you while you're standing underneath it, which seems to happen frequently! If you're in the mood for Thai food, there are several curry varieties, drunken noodles, pad thai, and krapow chicken, all of which deliver on their promises. A must-try is the Nutty Feta Parcels, which are little pockets of delicious bliss with a drizzle of mountain truffle honey on top. However, it's the vegan coconut gelato that comes with chef Ravraj Singh Chandok's mango sticky rice crème brûlée.

THERAPY Cafe & Bar
As it reaches new audiences throughout the city, the brand's expansion to Dadar represents another significant turning point in its history. Playful and daring dishes like crunchy chickpeas, gochujang wings, and farmhouse pizza are served, and the neighbourhood's spirit is evident in the hot thecha paneer and vada pav sliders. From dreamy blue fishbowls to electric LIIT pitchers topped with rubber duckies, drinks are theatrical, boisterous, and made to be shared. Even the lukewarm coffee has a touch of nostalgia, while craft beers flow effortlessly. It hums like a café in the morning and explodes into a sports bar at night, demonstrating that sometimes getting together is the best kind of rehabilitation.
