Bollywood actor Ananya Panday is a fitness icon for many, but she has never shied away from flaunting her foodie side on social media. The actor would soon be seen in Liger opposite Telugu superstar Vijay Devarakonda, the movie will release in Hindi and Telugu simultaneously. This will be Ananya’s first bilingual film, and the first song from the film 'Akdi Pakdi' is also breaking charts. While Ananya is busy with the promotions of her new film, she also had a personal update to share with her fans. On Monday, she took to Instagram to share an image of a delicious-looking French Toast, and guess who made it for her?
The sweet treat was made by her little sister Rysa, who would soon be going abroad for her studies. Partly proud, partly sceptical, Ananya wrote, “Is Rys just being nice and making me French Toast because she doesn’t want me to me take over her room when she goes college”.

Well, are you even an elder sibling if you do not doubt the younger sibling’s intentions? Anyhow, coming back to the ‘sweet bribe’ that got us all drooling. The toast was buttered and fried, it was also drizzled with honey or some kind of sweet syrup, the generously sprinkled chocolate chunks made the toast look all the more decadent. And if you follow Ananya on Instagram, you would know she is not the one to practise half measures, especially when it comes to food.
When Ananya was in Nevada shooting for Liger, she indulged her heart out, and half of her photo dump was just her food pictures from the trip (relatable much). Ananya feasted on cheeseburger, pepperoni pizza, spaghetti, coffee and buttercream. Carbs-1, crash dieting-0.
In another older post of her, Ananya can be seen surrounded by not one or two, but four boxes of pizza, “it’s called balance.”, she wrote in her caption, and yes, you can take this as a cue to be super jealous of the actress’ metabolism.
The actor also manages to find fellow foodie peers in the industry and binge with them (you attract your tribe after all, right?). She binged on a bevy of desserts with actress Shilpa Shetty as her father Chunky Panday looked on. From chocolate truffle balls, to pannacotta, to caramel pudding, the spread was packed with the most exquisite collection of desserts.
Ananya is also a fan of French Fries and once posted a picture with not a plate but a ‘bouquet of French Fries’ once. And the glee on her face was just unmissable. On her short trip to Lucknow, she also savoured a bunch of kebabs in the city. Find us a more relatable celeb foodie, we will wait.
