Farah Khan Shares Epic Finale Lunch On Reality Show Set

Sharing food with friends is one of the most fun ways to bond and spend quality time, and given how busy some of your favourite TV celebs might get, they always make it a point to spend some time at lunch. Documenting the riot of a time Farah Khan has been having with her co-judges – Malaika Arora, Gauahar Khan and Arshad Warsi – one last time on the sets of a reality show, Farah Khan shared a funny lunchtime video as a behind-the-scenes glimpse while filming the finale episode.

What was also amazing about this lunch was that the elaborate meal doubled as a potluck, with home-cooked food arriving from Malaika, Gauahar and Arshad’s kitchens. As the only one who brought vegetarian food, Malaika showcases boxes of a vibrant aloo-gobhi, followed by dahi kadhi, methi parathas, what looked like an assortment of kebabs and gajar ka halwa. To add to the fun, Arshad goes on to open up lids of dabbas containing hara kheema – a minced meat delicacy cooked with fresh peas and ground herbs and a stack of naan. Gauahar then opens up a vat of khichda made by her mother – which is a delicacy of meat, lentils and spices cooked to a mush.

After a quick appearance by actress Huma Qureshi – who Farah joked about having arrived to lunch empty-handed, the director flaunted a giant vessel containing biryani, which had fragrant basmati sitting over juicy pieces of meat. Since she began sharing videos of these lavish meals on social media, the fame of her roast chicken has gained iconic status; and so, in what she claimed to be ‘popular demand’, the delicious preparation made an appearance at the finale potluck yet again. Captioning the video, Farah said, “Epic Finale needed an EPIC LUNCH!! Will miss our food sessions guyyyssss.”
