Easy Chicken Chowmein Recipe With Spaghetti Noodles

The recipe can be cooked at home in no time and can be prepared in abundance to serve guests. You can also cook it before and keep it in a fridge to serve later. Here's the recipe for this quick stir-fry meal which is loaded with  chicken, veggies and Asian-inspired sauce using spaghetti noodles

Servings: 6

Ingredients:

12 oz. Spaghetti Noodles

6 tsp Oyster Sauce

5 tsp Soy Sauce

2 tsp Toasted Sesame Oil

2 tsp Ginger Paste

4 tsp olive oil, other cooking oil

1 pound Raw Chicken Breasts, cut into small pieces

12 oz bag of Fresh Broccoli

4 Cloves Garlic, minced

4 oz Fresh Snow Peas

1 cup Shelled Edamame, frozen

4 Green Onion, sliced

Sesame Seeds

Method:

In the first step, cook spaghetti noodles to al dente (cook thoroughly by adding water). Once cooked, remove all the water. Put the noodles in a bowl and set aside for sometime

Now take a bowl and add oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil and ginger paste to it. Mix all the ingredients properly and leave the sauce aside for a while

In a large skillet, add 2 tablespoons of oil and heat it on a medium flame. Once done, include the chicken in the skillet. Now add a pinch of salt followed by pepper. Next, toss all the ingredients and cook through

It will take approximately 4-5 minutes to cook them properly. Once cooked, place the chicken on a plate and leave it aside for a bit

Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of the oil to the same skillet and then put the broccoli slaw, minced garlic, fresh snow peas, edamame and green onion. Toss and sauté for a few minutes until the chicken gets softened

In this step, add the noodles and pour in the sauce also

Next, include the chicken and toss everything together using kitchen tongs. Let the noodles submerge for a couple of minutes in this sauce so that everything is nicely properly and warmed through

Garnish the recipe with sesame seeds

Important Points To Note:

Don’t over-cook the noodles

You can skip adding chicken and make it a pure vegetable noodle

You can also keep the leftover dish in the fridge and serve it after 3 to 4 days as well.
