If Diljit Dosanjh is known for anything other than his great voice and acting, it has to be his hilarious cooking videos. During the pandemic, when everyone was resorting to the kitchen to try their hands at dalgona coffee and what not, Diljit joined the bandwagon too. The singer-actor made several dishes, and now he’s back with another cooking series.
Recently, the Good News actor took to his Instagram page to share a video of his latest cooking stint. He was seen in the kitchen with his cook, teaching him how to make eggs. The hilarious video begins with Diljit cracking the eggs into a bowl and whisking them. His dada then sprinkles some salt and pepper in it. Next, he pours the eggs in a pan and scrambles them while pulling his cook’s leg till it is made.
Once done, we can see a happy and content Diljit making way for his yummy breakfast on to the plate. He writes, “Shakaa Boom! Dada ko lagta hai ki woh bahut ache cook hain but baari main v ni aun denda”. In a mix of Punjabi and Hindi, he states that his cook thinks that he is the best but he (Diljit won’t give him a chance to show his talent).
In another recently shared video on his handle, we see the Ikk Kudi singer dancing to the tunes of a Haryanvi folk song while slicing fruits for his fruit bowl. Yet again, he’s seen in the kitchen with his cook who is busy slicing apples while Diljit peels off bananas and chops them into smaller pieces. Although we don’t see the final outcome, we are guessing it is a fruit bowl that he’s prepping for.
More than anything else, he is a fan of home-cooked desi foodie. Give him makke di roti and sarson da saag along with dollops of ghee and he’ll be the happiest. Other than this, parathas with butter and lassi remind him of his childhood days and he would do anything to enjoy the same taste again.
