Try These 3 Different Ways To Cook Noodles At Home

During the pandemic, I tried preparing various dishes at home. Out of these, some came out well, but others failed. However, what I missed the most was street food - my favourite dahi bhalle, chaat papdi and noodles, among others. Like me, did you also miss those roadside noodles during the lockdown period? Today, we will tell you how to prepare noodles in three different ways. You can make them more nutritious and in significantly less time. So, what’s the delay? Let’s dig into these recipes right away.

Chilli Garlic Noodles

Ingredients:

  1. Green chillies - 2 finely chopped
  2. Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  3. Noodles - 250 grams boiled
  4. Onion - 1 finely chopped
  5. Coriander leaves - 1 tsp
  6. White vinegar - 1/2 tsp
  7. Chilli sauce - 1/2 tsp
  8. Whole red chilli - 2 
  9. Salt - as per taste
  10. Garlic clove - 7-8
  11. Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  12. Oil - 2 tsp

Method:

  1. First, heat oil and fry the red chilli garlic in a pan.
  2. After a minute, add onion, soy sauce, chilli sauce, vinegar and fry till it becomes golden.
  3. Now in the same pan, add noodles, black pepper powder with other ingredients and cook for some time.
  4. After cooking for about 5 minutes, put coriander leaves on top and switch off the gas.
  5. Chilli garlic noodles are ready to serve.

Capsicum Noodles

Ingredients:

  1. Noodles - 200 grams boiled
  2. Capsicum - 2 finely chopped
  3. Onion - 1 finely chopped
  4. Salt - according to taste
  5. Coriander leaves - 1 tsp
  6. Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  7. Ginger paste - 1/2 tsp
  8. Lemon juice - 1/2 tsp
  9. Soy sauce - 2 tsp
  10. Vinegar - 1/2 tsp 
  11. Oil - 2 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil add ginger paste and onion in a pan.
  2. After some time, put capsicum, chilli powder and salt in the same pan and cook.
  3. After about 5 minutes, add vinegar, lemon juice, soy sauce, noodles and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Now, put coriander leaves on top and switch off the gas. 
  5. Capsicum noodles are ready to serve.

Egg Noodles

Ingredients:

  1. Green vegetables - 1/2 cup optional 
  2. Green chilli - 3 finely chopped
  3. Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  4. Ginger paste - 1/2 tsp
  5. Noodles - 300 grams
  6. Onion paste - 1 tsp
  7. Salt - as per taste
  8. Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  9. Vinegar - 1/2 tsp
  10. Eggs - 3

Method:

  1. First, heat water in a vessel, boil the noodles for some time, filter the water and take out the noodles.
  2. Now put ginger and onion paste with eggs in another vessel and mix it well.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add the egg mixture and fry it for some time.
  4. After this, heat oil in another pan and fry it by adding noodles, vinegar, salt, soy sauce and green chillies.
  5. After about 5 minutes, add fried eggs to this mixture, cook for some time and turn off the gas.
  6. Delicious egg noodles are ready to serve.
