Sugarcane Barfi

Ingredients:

  1. Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  2. Groundnut powder - 2 teaspoon
  3. Coconut powder - 2 teaspoon
  4. Jaggery powder - 1/4 cup
  5. Sugarcane juice - 2 cup
  6. Wheat flour - 2 cup
  7. Ghee - 1 cup

Method:

  1. First, mix jaggery powder, sugarcane juice and sieve it with a cotton cloth
  2. After this, heat ghee in a pan, put the flour and fry till it becomes golden
  3. Now add peanut powder, cardamom powder, coconut powder to this flour and cook it for some time
  4. After some time, add sugarcane juice to it, cook it for about 8-10 minutes and switch off the gas
  5. After this, spread it by placing it in a vessel while cutting it into the shape of barfi after cooling.

Jaggery Mathri

Ingredients:

  1. Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  2. Jaggery - 1 cup
  3. Fennel - 1/2 tsp
  4. Flour - 3 cups
  5. Ghee - 2 tsp
  6. Oil - 2 cups

Method:

  1. First, put jaggery water in a pan, cook it on medium flame and turn off the gas.
  2. After cooling down, filter this mixture with the help of a sieve and keep it in a vessel.
  3. Now add other ingredients flour to this mixture, mix it well and knead it
  4. Keep it covered for about ten minutes; now, roll the dough into small shapes
  5. Heat oil and fry all the mathris in a pan until they become golden

Walnut Barfi

Ingredients:

  1. Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  2. Walnuts - 2 cups ground
  3. Sugar powder - 1/2 cup
  4. Dry fruits - 3 tsp
  5. Ghee - 2 tsp

Method:

  1. First, make sugar syrup by adding water and sugar powder to a pan
  2. After this, add the walnut powder to this syrup and keep stirring it together
  3. After 3 to 4 minutes, add cardamom powder with ghee and turn off the gas after some time
  4. Then, grease a plate with ghee, pour the mixture, and spread it; leave it to cool down for some time
  5. After cooling down for some time, cut it into the shape of barfi with the help of a knife
