Delhi Winter’s Will Taste Better With These New Menus

Delhi winters conjure images of soft sunshine, fluffy hoodies, cosy mittens and glamorous thigh high boots and all the beautiful cafes and restaurants are set to give you all a taste of gamut of flavours ranging from all things Indian to Vietnamese to some quirky modern flavours. 

Klap

It is a season for good appetites and this festive season, a time to celebrate good weather and good times. A ‘good time’ is never complete without stellar food and unique cocktails, so Klap did just that, Chef Gurmehar Sethi made a menu that’s not only perfect for the season but is also perfect for celebrations. 

Start your meal with a seasonal special Pomelo Salad and they added an extra touch of the tropics with coconut flakes, strawberries and a tart tamarind dressing. Move on to a heart-warming dish their classic Lucknowi Haleem served with biscuit roti will take you straight to the land of Nawabs. A big part of our city’s seasonal bounty is leafy greens, so don’t miss our version of a classic Punjabi Winter Saag, greens that gently envelope slow cooked chicken and are served with luscious mini garlic naans. For vegetarians, there’s Andhra Cottage Cheese served with Malabar rotis. Figs are the treat of the season and complement our Belgian Pork Belly perfectly, try the Belgium Pork Belly Flatbread with figs and caramelized onions for an ideal with some cocktails. The vegetarian version of the flatbread is the Al Funghi, served with a divine jalapeno pesto. 

Pair your meal with the new selection of winter cocktails. The Asian Toddy, a delectable combination of Tequila, Cranberries, Lemongrass, Kaffir Lime and secret Spices to the Awakening Soul, made with Whiskey, Spices Brewed with Tea and Jaggery or the Pe-Pone which has Whiskey, Half and Half, In House Pumpkin Syrup along with Chips. Since Rum works just as well to make a winter night super cosy, they also have the Magma, a rich combination of Rum, Mandarin, Apple Juice and Aromatic Bitters.

Olive Bar & Kitchen

Chef Dhruv has again tossed his magic with the menu that is inspired by the cuisine of the Mediterranean belt and the euro classics. But it makes it more special because of the ingredients that’s used to cook this international affair at olive. Of course, keeping the comfort-ness in mind with the right amount of flavour and tasteful concoctions. Few examples are:

    Amla salad with ten leaves sourced from the tiara farm served with fresh sour cheese sourced from a fromagerie in Pune, pistachio and poppy seed granola, and the dressing is made out of aam-aada (mango ginger from the Orissa Bengal belt)

    Classic souffle made with the zarai cheese sourced from the daruma farm located in the Himalayas, served with jamun confiture and hazelnuts sourced from Ladakh. 

    Local Burrata served with sea buckthorn berry forced from leg and Nigella seed  cooked beetroot jam and lotus root crisps. 

    Lemon passion cheese tart made with the fresh passion fruit sourced from the nilgiris forest belt located in south of India and the bengali gondhoraj lime is added for the flavor full zing.

The modern touch to the regional cuisines have also been introduced in dishes like Cauliflower 65 Gravy, Signature Black Chicken, Truffle Flavoured Broken Wheat Haleem amongst others. 

Expanding on our bestsellers, fans can satiate on Virat Kohli’s new favorite Tartar Topped on Avocado. New additions see salads like Baby Bocincinni, Arugula & California Grapes and Oriental Meal Bowls offer a variety of Silken Tofu, Mushroom, Chicken Katsu and Salmon for a healthy yet hearty meal. Other offerings like Burrata Board, Jamaican Jerk Cauliflower, Spanish Paprika Marinate Chicken amongst other delectable delicacies are part of the small plates, whereas for a larger meal, one can opt for Pan Seared Fish Steak, Middle Eastern Pilaf Rice, or Coastal Chicken Curry and much more.

The country's favourite urban hangout SOCIAL has introduced their take on an edgy winter menu. The menu is off to a get start with hot and slurpy Nepalese Soupy Momos, a wholesome Not Chinese Platter featuring Spring Rolls, Momos, Honey Chilli Fries and Chinese Bhel and a fiery Tandoori Sausage Platter. Indulge in Daddu's Chicken Wings or the SOCIAL Seafood Platter with Fried Fish, Prawn Popcorn, Sabudana Seafood Vadas and Tandoori Fish Tikka. The xxx-Mas is a dish you don't want to miss! Chorizo Cranberry Fried Rice with Sexo Sauce.

End your meal on a sweet note with the gooey Xmas Toffee Pudding with Butterscotch. This festive menu pairs perfectly with a limited-edition Mulled Wine LLIIT and XMas Shot. There's something for everyone!

Music And Mountains 

Music and Mountains in Delhi is here to make your winter warm with their new menu, replete with hearty ingredients, farm-fresh vegetables, and a ‘cocktail programme’ that’s perfectly tailored for the weather. The wine menu includes the best from Italy, Spain, South Africa, and Germany, alongside Merlot from Chile, Malbec from Argentina, and Bordeaux from France. On the other hand, the food menu features a special soup that is made using apples from Uttarakhand, radish, and celery, topped with caramelised Apples and Spanish chorizo. Warm up with rich kale and chickpeas soup or opt for comforting white bean red pumpkin stew with fresh bay leaf. 

There is also pepper-sautéed strawberries salad, prosciutto, and burrata to try before a meal of vinegared crumb fried pork chops or sweet potato goat cheese gnocchi. If you love breakfast as much as we do, go for banana toffee crepes, crepes topped with caramelised bananas, along with house-made caramel sauce, whipped cream, ice cream, and cookie crumbs. If not in the mood for something sweet, try the crispy fried chicken and waffle. Complete your meal with strawberry and rosemary-filled cream cake and a cup of coffee from Chikmagalur.   

The ‘cocktail programme’ flaunts red wine, shiraz, Tennessee whiskey, apple brandy, and Sauvignon Blanc. Scotch cocktails are infused with Italian Amaros. The most distinct cocktails on the new winter menu feature a new taste profile – savoury. Introducing Moon River, a cocktail made with a parmesan-infused gin and dry vermouth, served with a house-made parmesan cracker. Then, there is ‘Tainted Love’ - a cocktail made with clarified tomato shrub, vodka, and dry tonic garnished with a perfect bite of sundried tomatoes, green olives, and cheddar cheese.

The Chatter House 

Chatter House is all set with their new cocktail menu sees syrup-free with liqueurs, cordials and essences made in house, using natural ingredients. The winter menu offers - Malinae mulled wine: Spanish red wine infused with Morpheus, aromatic cloves, cinnamon & spices served with the cubeb berries, pears & orange peel, House of tudor: Gin infused with raspberry and a perfect blend of lime saccharum, homemade orange marmalade & frothy egg white/aquafaba, Pois papilon: A perfect balance of Gin with kaffir lime liqueur; topped with tonic water, soda; along with other unique blends - Raesme chillo, One61 & Apple cider toddy.

Ivoryy Cocktail Garden

From cross-border culinary experiences to handcrafted cocktails. Nestled in Panchshila Park, Malviya Nagar, Ivoryy  has come up with their new menu that consists of a variety of handcrafted cocktails like mulled wine, eggnog, hot toddy, and hot buttered rum, which are warm and ultracosy, best for the winters. The concoctions are prepared using spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, black pepper, ginger, honey & fruits like dates. 

The cuisine menu honours the region's diverse cultures with a magnificent medley of Mediterranean, European, and Asian specialties. It is a selection of nutritious and delicious foods to enjoy this winter - Goat Cheese Dolma, Berkshire Chicken Bao, Kaho Mak Gai, Kanafeh Jaffar and Burnt Babka.

It’s time to treat your tastebuds with delicious North Indian delicacies, which have been winter staples for years. The new Dilli Ki Sardi menu is a limited edition winter menu.

Dilli ki Sardi menu Dhaba has used all  winter special ingredients like sesame seeds (Till) , sarson (mustard) etc. and the dishes are all cooked in pure and authentic way; just like how your Dadi or Nani does it at home. None of the dishes are overcooked so that vegetables retain their nutritional value.

It’s given fact that North India thrives on seasonal vegetables like (mustard) sarson, Fenugreek (methi), Spinach (palak) , Raddish (mooli), winter carrots etc and Dhaba  has brought back with traditional winter dishes like Sarson ka Saag served with Makki ki Roti with white fresh butter and jaggery, Til Wali Murgh ki Chaap, Kasundi Fish Tikka, Methi Malai Paneer Tikka and Gajar Ka Halwa which are perfect for the weather.
