If you are a foodie by heart, you must be waiting for the year-ender food trends, isn’t it? Well, your wait is finally over. After swiggy, zomato has also released “Zomato Food Trends (ZFT)”. This is a publicly available platform which provides a real-time info about what foodies from every nook and cranny of India, love to order and eat. It needs to be mentioned here that ZFT helps in analyzing data from millions of transactions in India and then provides information in the simplest form.
You may be happy to know that biryani, once again, has become the most-ordered dish on Zomato. This list was followed by chaat, sandwich, chicken starters and dosa. Our beloved pizza and South Indian cuisine are also in the list. As per the ZFT data, chaat is one of the most-ordered dishes in Mumbai. This list is followed by sandwiches, fries, fried rice and cake. In Bangalore, chicken starter is one of the most ordered dishes on Zomato. And why not? Chicken starter goes well with booze and makes for a perfect snack.
While in Delhi, people love chaat and has made it among the most ordered dishes. You won't be surprised to know that momos, sweets, sandwiches and thalis are also amongst the most ordered food. The Delhiites even love ordering desserts.
