So, what is not there to celebrate??

CSK team witnessed a warm welcome and massive celebration at ITC Narmada, Ahmedabad. The post shared by the official Instagram account of ITC Narmada Ahmedabad was captioned as ‘Sensational scenes of jubilation as the 5-time champions @chennaiipl bring the trophy back to their home away from home in Ahmedabad, ITC Narmada. #HomeToTheChampions. The video shows ITC staff whistling and playing ‘Whistle Podu’ CSK anthem on the team’s arrival. The team walked in with the trophy and grooved on the beats of dhol.

What stole the limelight, of course after the IPL 2023 trophy, was the four-tiered cake that represented CSK’s four tournaments. Right after Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s entry, the fifth tier was put on the top and star Dhoni was asked to cut it. It was ‘Dhoni Dhoni’ that echoed all over. No wonder! Talking to Slurrp, ITC Narmada’s General Manager Keenan McKenzie talked about the "Yellove Cake" for the Chennai Super Kings.

“ITC Narmada's culinary tribute to the championship winning CSK team. The iconic hotel was their home in Ahmedabad and the chefs created the yellow marvel to celebrate their ceremoniously grand victory for not just the 2023 IPL season but also to commemorate their victories in 2010, 2011, 2018 and 2021”. He added ‘the 5 tier Yellove cake not only symbolized hard work and sweet success of the team but also showcased their meteoric rise to the mountain top with 5 championships”.
