Craving Coconut? Try These Soothing Mocktails

We can’t disagree that coconut cocktails are among the tastiest treats in the bar. We can choose from a great variety and mix up our favourites too. Irrespective of what you have, be it a bottle of coconut rum, vodka, or liqueur, all these cocktails give an absolute tropic vibe but wait, what about those who don’t consume alcohol? 

Don’t worry, we have your back like always. Just if you don’t prefer alcohol, you don’t have to ditch on some of the amazing coconut beverages. We have brought some mocktails that are easy to make and too soothing. You can make it at home and surprise your non-drinker friends. Wanna know the recipes? Here you go. 

Coconut Latte 


No, you don’t have to rush to Starbucks but can make this creamy delight at home. And you know what? You don’t need to spend a lot of time in making it as it requires only three ingredients. Here’s how you can make it at home.  

Ingredients 

  • ¼ cup coconut milk 
  • 2 ounces of expresso 
  • Maple syrup to taste. 

Method 

  • Heat a pan and add coconut milk. Also, add maple syrup and let boil for 4 to 5 minutes. 
  • Meanwhile, make your brewed coffee and keep it aside.  
  • When done, whisk the coconut milk. 
  • Take a coffee mug and add in the expresso. Pour the frothy coconut milk and sprinkle some cocoa powder if you want.  
  • Serve and enjoy! 

Pina Colada 

This Pina Colada is non-alcoholic and everything that you need. And, making it is even easier. Have a look below.

Ingredients 

  • ½ cup coconut cream 
  • 2 cups pineapple juice 
  • Ice 

Method 

  • Take a blender and add pineapple juice. Add coconut cream and blend everything together. 
  • Also add ice and ensure that the liquid covers the ice. 
  • Blend everything smoothly and enjoy! 

Coconut Margarita  


Believe me, this cocktail is going to soothe you from inside out. It just needs a few ingredients and will be ready quickly. Here’s how you can make it.  

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut water 
  • ½ cup fresh lime juice 
  • 2 cups ice cube 
  • 3 tbsp coconut cream 
  • Pinch of kosher salt 
  • Lime wedges 

Method 

  • Take a container and add coconut water. Let it freeze for 3 to 4 hours. 
  • When done, add the frozen coconut water in a blender. Add in lime juice, coconut cream, ice and salt. Blend it for around 25 to 30 seconds.     
  • Take a cocktail glass and add ice. Pour in the cocktail and garnish with lemon wedges. 
  • Serve!       

Spiced Coconut 

This mocktail is a beautiful concoction of spices like turmeric and coconut. It might take a little of your efforts, but they will all be worth it. Follow the steps below and make it at home.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups coconut milk 
  • 1 tsp turmeric 
  • ½ cup coconut water 
  • ½ tsp ginger (grated) 
  • 2 tbsp honey 

Method 

  • Heat a pan and add coconut milk. Add coconut water, grated ginger, honey and turmeric. Whisk everything together. 
  • Heat the mixture but keep whisking so that there are no lumps. Turn off before it starts coming to a boil. 
  • Remove the pan and let it cool. Add in one lemon juice. 
  • Take a glass and pour coconut drink. Garnish with lemon wedge and serve!
