Recipe 

4 slices of bread (white or whole wheat) 

2 large eggs 

¼ cup milk 

1 tsp vanilla extract 

½ tsp ground cinnamon 

2 tbsp butter 

2 ripe bananas, sliced 

½ tsp ground cinnamon (for sautéing bananas) 

Maple syrup or honey, for serving (optional) 

Method: In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon until well combined. 

Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and add 1 tbsp of butter, allowing it to melt and coat the pan evenly.
