Chef Tushar Chandel Shares Quick Summer Snack Recipes

Homemade snacks are the best to indulge in summer, winter, or rainy seasons. With several food safety issues making headlines every day, it is better to eat at home rather than eat at an eatery and suffer from food poisoning. It seems that no matter how many stars a restaurant or a joint has on a food aggregating platform, the food cannot be as good and hygienic as you can make in the comfort of your kitchen.

This is an eye-appealing snack. You will need to invest more time into plating it than preparing it. The instructions are simple - you have to stack potato patties and vegetables over one another. While preparing this recipe, you will be reminded of your childhood when you used to stack blocks over one another.

Ingredients For Potato Patties Stacker

  • 4 Boiled and mashed potatoes
  • Salt to taste
  • 1.5 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons red chilli powder
  • 1 cup cabbage
  • 10-12 olive slices
  • Mayonnaise of your choice
  • 1 sliced tomato
  • 2 carrots
  • Lettuce leaves
  • 1 sliced green capsicum

Method To Prepare Potato Patties Stacker

  • In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes, salt to taste, cornstarch, and red chilli powder. Cornstarch will make potatoes lightweight and patties crispy.
  • After combining the ingredients, make small patties and either shallow fry or air fry them until crispy.
  • Make coleslaw using mayonnaise, shredded cabbage, shredded carrot, chopped capsicum, and chopped olives.
  • Between two potato patties, arrange lettuce, tomato slices, and a spoonful of coleslaw.
  • Using a toothpick, secure the stacker and arrange it on a serving plate along with different kinds of chutneys.
