From cake to halwa, here are five delicious desserts you can prepare with pineapple:

Pineapple Cake

Pineapple cake is a yummy delight that combines the sweetness of ripe pineapples with butter, flour, eggs, and sugar in the form of cake. This treat is a perfect dessert for summertime occasions. It can also be used for celebrating birthdays by decorating it with some whipped cream, pineapple syrup, and pineapple slices. One of the popular variants is the pineapple upside-down cake. This sweet and moist cake is topped with caramelised pineapple and maraschino cherries. The cake is traditionally made in a skillet, where pineapple slices and cherries are arranged on the bottom of the skillet before being topped with a brown sugar and butter mixture. The cake batter is then poured over the top and baked in the oven until golden brown and cooked through. Later, it is flipped upside down onto a serving platter so that the glazed pineapple and cherries stay atop the cake.

Pineapple Ladoo

If you are bored with your regular ladoo recipes, try pineapple ladoo. This Indian sweet combines the tangy flavour of pineapple with the richness of condensed milk and the flavour of roasted coconut. Shaped into bite-sized balls, these treats are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth and are something unique to be served during festive occasions and celebrations.

Flavours of cardamom are infused to give an aromatic touch to this sweet and tangy sandesh, which is garnished with chopped nuts for a slight crunch and nutty taste.

Pineapple Kheer

Made with rice and milk, kheer is a traditional Indian dessert that is prepared on almost every festive occasion. This time, give it a fruity twist by combining it with pineapple. This rich and creamy dessert is made by cooking rice and pineapple in milk and sugar until it thickens into a creamy pudding-like consistency. Infused with the delicate aroma of saffron and the crunch of toasted almonds, this delicious treat can be served hot or cold.

Pineapple Halwa

You might be a little doubtful before trying it, but we bet it will steal your heart with its unique blend of sweet and tangy flavours. Made from grated pineapple, ghee, sugar, and a mix of aromatic spices, this halwa is a heavenly treat that melts in your mouth with every bite. The pineapple is peeled, cored, and grated. Then, it is cooked in ghee until the water content evaporates and the pineapple turns golden brown. Next, sugar, cardamom powder, and milk are added to the cooked pineapple, and the mixture is simmered until the milk is absorbed and the mixture thickens. The garnishing of nuts and raisins also adds a delightful crunch to this mouth-watering dessert.
