Life’s not easy or fair, but chocolate certainly helps, right? So, isn’t it about time you put that jar of Nutella to good use? Nutella, or any good chocolate- hazelnut spread can be used to make a range of unique and tempting desserts. Personally, I find the plain Nutella a bit too dense and sweet, so I do not quite understand people’s obsession with eating multiple spoons of the spread straight from the jar.

If you are also like me, then you would definitely enjoy these Nutella Fills. Much like Pain au chocolate or a croissant, the puffy bread helps mask the excess sweetness of Nutella, making the whole dessert work on multiple levels. Flavourwise, it satiates all your rich, chocolate cravings, and in terms of texture too, it gives you quite a blend. The bread is soft and flaky, topped with rich and dense Nutella.

This recipe of Nutella fills is by ace pastry maker Naveenprasad Shetty, who is the Executive Pastry Chef, Shangri-La Bengaluru. Follow the recipe to the T, and who knows, you may as well make a 5-star level dessert in the comfort of your own home.
