We all know about Anushka Sharma's love for food. Be it her obsession with croissants while in Paris or her biscuit review series that had us in splits, the Bollywood star always manages to have the attention of foodies with her drool-worthy posts and stories on Instagram. The actor was sharing some stunning food indulgences while she was in the UK to shoot for her next film, Chakda Xpress, and now that she’s back in India, her food stories are also all about desi treats and places.

In her latest Instagram story, Anushka reveals how she is missing her favourite bakery in Bengaluru. Having grown up in the capital city of Karnataka, it is only natural to have nostalgia attached to certain places, especially bakeries and restaurants that one tends to visit frequently while growing up. On Sunday, Anushka shared the picture of Thom's Bakery and Supermarket in Bengaluru, and wrote, "Currently Missing". Take a look:

For the unversed, Thom's Bakery is a popular spot in the city for decadent cakes, breads, cookies, and savoury treats. It is also a supermarket for your regular groceries and other essentials. One of Bengaluru’s oldest bakeries, this place is also popular for its yummy puffs, which Anushka absolutely loves devouring. How do we know? Well, her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli revealed the same.

A few months ago, during an interview with comedian-actor Danish Sait, Virat spoke about his wife and her favourite thing - ‘puffs from a bakery in Bengaluru’. In the video, Virat recalled an adorable incident when he walked into Anushka's favourite bakery without security to buy her some puffs. He said, "I had a mask and a cap on, and it was the best possible way to experience some normalcy and I promise you nobody noticed me at all, it was such a liberating feeling."
