A day out and about town is always full of fun and good food – and Ananya Panday proved that she’s a girl’s girl in her latest adventure with her best friend for many years, Navya Nanda. Both, Ananya and Navya, who grew up together coming from illustrious families, spent some quality time catching up and driving around Mumbai’s upstate neighbourhood of Juhu. Navya, who is also a resident of the area, decided to take charge of driving her friend around and go book shopping.
Following this, the girls decided to grab a bite at the iconic Prithvi Café – where they relished cups of kadak chai, chilli cheese toast and puff pattice. Ananya, who posted a video on social media sharing sneak peeks of her day with Navya, showed the beautifully lit up roof of the café, followed by a clip of herself taking a sip of chai. Another bit showed the triangular pieces of cheese toast, studded with onions, bell peppers and chillies – served with oregano and chilli flakes on the side.

While their common friend, Suhana Khan and Ananya’s mother, Bhavana Panday left endearing comments under the video, the actress captioned it saying, “kadak chai, cheese toast, book shopping and Navya’s driving. Prithvi Sunday.” The open-air café, which is a space housed inside the performance venue – Prithvi Theatre – is known to be quite a popular spot for tea time snacks and beverages. Besides the chilli cheese toast, the café is also popular for serving up parathas, keema pav and hummus bowls.
