Ananya Panday Had This Ice Cream Sundae From Delhi's Iconic Restaurant

Delhi is soaring right now. Almost every second day, the capital sets a new record when it comes to temperatures. Spring was indeed short-lived this year and summer arrived early, however, Delhi sure knows how to beat the heat in style. Summer staples like Shikanji, Banta, Kuremal Kulfi, Pyaar Mohabbat Sharbat, Sattu come to rescue. Another favourite is the Hot Chocolate Fudge, and not just any HCF, the hot chocolate fudge of Nirula's holds a very special heart in most Delhiite's heart. And now it looks like the Sundae has impressed a Mumbaikar too, a Bollywood celebrity at that.

Actress Ananya Panday who is at her Naani (maternal grandmother) in Delhi, ordered a portion of Nirula's Hot Chocolate Fudge, within second day of her visit to the capital. On Thursday, the actress shared a boomerang of the classic Sundae on her Instagram stories. "Hot Choc Fudge", the 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' actress wrote in her caption.

The Hot Chocolate Fudge is one of Nirula's most beloved ice cream. It comes with goodness of vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, brownies and crushed peanuts. Nirula's is said to be India's first, homegrown fast-food restaurant. Established in Delhi in the year 1977, Nirula's now has branches across the capital, in addition to a few in Chandigarh and Dehradun. When there weren't as many kinds of ice creams and ice creams flavours known to an average Indian diner, Nirula's became a sought-after spot for serving close to 21 flavours.

Sundae, as we all know, is an American ice cream dessert which often comprises scoops of ice cream, some sweet syrups or sauces, nuts, choco chips, peanuts, brownies etc. Sundae can be as elaborate Or simple as you want it to be and guess what?
