It’s a big day today as Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are going to tie the knot at the Jio World Convention Centre, BKC, Mumbai. The families of the couple had organised a pre-wedding event in Jamnagar in February 2024 and a European cruise in May 2024. The couple’s pre-wedding has been the talk of the town as Hollywood celebrities and personalities have been arriving in Mumbai to attend the biggest wedding of probably the decade.

From organising bhandara to featuring chaat stalls from Varanasi, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding is nothing short of a spectacle for the world. Videos from events continue to go viral on social media, but what has recently caught everyone’s attention is the hamper that Reliance employees have received.

Reliance employees have shot videos of the hampers that have received not just food but also a silver coin in each of them. The top of the hamper reads, “With the divine grace of our Devis and Devtas, we celebrate the wedding of Anant and Radhika. With the best wishes, Nita and Mukesh Ambani.”

The red-coloured box featured the Hindu symbol of tilak, which is associated with prosperity, happiness, and all things good. The goodies inside the box included different types of sweets and snacks.

A person shared a video of the hamper and captioned it, “Perks of working at Reliance.” Inside the box was a variety of Haldiram’s, a popular pan-Indian snack and sweet chain, namkeen. It featured the red aloo bhujia sev, bhujia sev, and chiwda. These are some of the most common snacks that you can find in almost every Indian household, not to mention the popular choice of snacks served with tea when guests come unannounced.

The hamper also comprised another box with a transparent cover. It contained four different kinds of sweets, including kaju katli. On the top of the box of sweets was a silver coin with the same tilak sign on the cover. The richest family is gearing up for the big day as paparazzi continue to click celebs arriving from across the world at the Mumbai airport.
