Pasta Recipes To Try At Home
1. Pasta Arrabbiata
Made with some saucy and tangy tomato sauce, the arrabbiata sauce can be made hot and fiery according to your preference. Tomato puree, mixed with bacon strips and spices is poured over the penne pasta. This is garnished with grated parmesan and served hot. You can add some basil leaves on top for added freshness. Although penne has been used in this recipe, you can pick your favourite pasta from the varieties available and follow the same steps.
2. Italian Chilled Fusilli Pasta Salad
A cool and refreshing salad that is a respite in summers, this recipe is the best way to beat the heat. Cooked pasta is mixed with chopped cucumber, carrots and capsicum and tossed together. Fusilli pasta is used for this recipe and chaat masala, lemon juice, powdered sugar and salt are sprinkled on top. Green gram sprouts can also be added for a filling meal.
3. Pesto Zucchini Spaghetti
The thick strands of spaghetti noodles are boiled. Meanwhile, the pesto sauce is prepared and red onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and garlic are chopped. The zucchini is sliced and the spaghetti is mixed with the sauce and vegetables. Add some freshly ground black pepper and grate some cheese to relish the pasta.
