It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that the year 2022 belonged to Alia Bhatt. From delivering some of her career’s best performances - in Gangubai Kathiawadi, Darlings, and Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva - to getting married, shooting her first international film - Heart of Stone - and having a baby, Alia is ending the year with a bang. And to remember the year that was, she recently shared a recap reel on her Instagram profile, and may we say, the foodie in her did play a dominating role. Alia loves her pizzas, especially when she is on vacation. Alia got a chance to travel many countries this year for work and for personal reasons. In the reel, Alia shared images of two authentic Neapolitan pizzas, while one of them appeared to be a classic Margherita (loaded with tomato sauce, basil, and mozzarella cheese), the other one was also topped with lots of fresh cheese and rocket leaves.
Alia loves her cup of Joe as much as she loves her chai. She indulged in the popular European-style coffee, in an al-fresco café abroad. The coffee with the view sure made us green with envy.
3. Gelato Ice Cream
With her sister Shaheen, she also indulged in many sugary treats that are otherwise a no-no in her diet. We spotted two sleek, chocolate gelato ice creams in cones, topped with a chocolate coin. We are not drooling, you are.
4. Banana And Berries Smoothie Bowl
A healthy and yummy smoothie bowl made with freshly sliced bananas, cinnamon powder, chia seeds, and milk also made it to the reel, proving how good Alia is in striking a balance between her sugary cravings and her diet
Last but not the least. Alia shared the meal that she “ate every day for 3 months” in her second trimester. A hearty bowl of muesli with milk, enriched with the goodness of nutty granola, fruits like blackberries, blueberries and mulberries, and a drizzle of honey, this wholesome breakfast sure has our heart.
