Actress Shobhita Rana Kickstarts Her Day With This Healthy Meal

There have been enough studies that have explained how essential it is to have a healthy and nutrient-rich meal for breakfast. A healthy breakfast meal can keep you energized for the day and can even prevent unwanted hunger pangs. And when there is conversation about breakfast, toast will always find its mention. Toast is almost always going to come together quickly. All you need to do is just toast bread and place ingredients. It is easy to make and depending on the ingredients used, it can be quite versatile. 

Recently, actress Shobhita took to Instagram and gave a glimpse of her healthy breakfast. Shobhita Rana, over time with her acting contribution, has won hearts of millions of people. She has worked in movies like Ramrajya, Ishq Brandy and Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga. Apart from being an actress Shobhita Rana is also quite active on social media and has been ruling the hearts of millions. The actress is a vegan and keeps sharing her healthy foodie indulgences with her fans.

In her recent Instagram story, she shared a picture of a healthy and nutritious breakfast comprising of mushroom and avocado toast. She wrote, “Breakfast is soo imp to me”.

The actress also shared two stories- the first where we can spot some sautéed mushrooms in a pan along with a bowl of mashed bowl and the second where we can see spot toast layered with mashed avocado with sauteed mushrooms on the top. We can also spot a beverage with the meal that looked delicious. If you want the recipe, don’t worry as we have your back like always. This recipe gets ready in less than 10 minutes and is super healthy. 

Vegan Mushroom Avocado Toast 

Ingredients 

  • 2 bread slices (prefer whole wheat or gluten-free bread if available) 
  • ½ to ¾ medium ripe avocado  
  • 2 tbsp olive oil 
  • 1 cup mushrooms  
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme 
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes 
  • Pinch of salt 
  • Pinch of black pepper 

Method 

  • First, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.  
  • Now, add sliced mushrooms, thyme, and red pepper flakes. Let it cook for 5 to 7 minutes. 
  • Meanwhile, toast bread in the oven or a toaster. Also, mash the ripe avocados and keep it in a bowl. 
  • When the mushrooms are lightly browned, turn off the heat and add in the salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir well and taste and adjust as needed. 
  • Take the toasted bread and top it with ripe avocado mixture. Then top with sautéed mushroom mixture. 
  •  Eat, repeat, enjoy!
