Some of the most common uses of mango include making aamras or mango smoothies other than eating mango as is. However, there are a lot of other creative recipes that one can try making this summer with the help of mangoes. Here are some of the top mango recipes that are a must-try for all the mango lovers out there. 

* Mango Salsa

Mango salsa is an unconventional mango dip that is made by using juicy mango pulp and mixing it with red onions, jalapeños, cilantro, and lime juice. All these ingredients are mixed properly to make a rich and appetising salsa. The dip is served with some fresh fish, chicken or shrimp. This dip can be elevated even further by mixing some avocado pulp with the mango pulp.

* Mango Pancakes 

Mango pancakes are already a very popular breakfast option. But it's also possible to make delicious pancakes with mangoes. One has to simply mix mango pulp in the regular pancake batter. There is also no need to add honey or any other sweetener, as mangoes are naturally very sweet. This mixture can be cooked on a nonstick pan with a lot of butter. The mango pancakes have a very refreshing fruity taste along with the mild sweetness of mangoes.

* Popsicles 

Making popsicles from fresh fruits is the best way to enjoy fruits creatively. Popsicles can be easily stored in the refrigerator for at least 4 to 5 days without worrying about their taste going bad. Mango popsicles can be simply made by taking some heavy cream milk and mixing it with mango pulp and dry fruits in a mixer. The mixture can be added inside popsicle moulds and frozen inside a refrigerator for 5 to 6 hours so that they are set properly. These popsicles are fresh and the perfect way to rejuvenate one's mind on hot summer days.

* Mango Tea

Other than making hot beverages, it is also very much possible to make cold beverages with the help of mangoes. A simple way to make mango tea is by adding slices of mango to some water and brewing the water on low or medium heat. In the tea, one can also add other kinds of ingredients like cardamom, cinnamon, sticks, and other similar ingredients. This tea can be consumed both hot and cold and is very comforting to drink.

* Sandwich

A conventional sandwich that most people like as a snack or for breakfast is the peanut butter and jelly sandwich. This sandwich can be made even more delicious by making a small change. Instead of adding jam, one can simply add 4 to 5 slices of mangoes on top of peanut butter. One should take multigrain bread instead of brown or white bread to make it healthy. The combination of mango and peanut butter strikes the perfect balance of nutty and sweet flavours.

* Mango Sauce

Mango sauce or purée can be made at home by simply making a thick paste of mango pulp by mixing mango and some water or cream in a mixer. This creates a very thick and delicious mango sauce that can be poured over a lot of different types of sweet dishes, like vanilla ice cream, regular pancakes, waffles, doughnuts, and many other things. Mango sauce can be simply mixed with different types of fruits and Greek yoghurt to create a very appetising fruit bowl.

* Mango Chicken Skewers 

Chicken tikka is one of the favourite snacks of non-vegetarian people, and it is generally served with different types of vegetables, such as bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes. Mango chicken skewers is an out-of-the-ordinary recipe that marinates chicken and mangoes and then grills them on a griller. The process is very much similar to grilling a pineapple. The chicken is marinated conventionally by using curd and spices. On the side,  pieces of mango are sprinkled with some salt and black pepper. Then, pieces of chicken and mangoes are assorted on skewers. These tikkas are then grilled and served fresh. While choosing mangoes for assorting in skewers, one must make sure that the variety of mangoes being used is not very soft so that it doesn't melt off.
